Starting from the exhibition hosted in D’ARC
Foundation, the catalogue, published by Silvana Editoriale, retraces the artistic research of Aneta Grzeszykowska through the temporal lens evoked by the title “Out of the blue”.
Through photography, video, and sculpture, the artist develops a radical and multifaceted practice centered on the body, temporality, and the processes of construction and deconstruction of identity. The volume explores a poetics in which the body is continuously transformed: duplicated, distorted, fragmented, up to the violent erasure of the self.
The book presentation is scheduled for May 24, the final day of the exhibition’s opening.
