Fondazione D’ARC is pleased to announce the next event in its educational programme OpenToTheInsideOut, taking place on Thursday, 16 July 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

On the occasion of Gabriele Silli’s solo exhibition Immenso Spermatozoo Sottomarino, OpenToTheInsideOut presents a Group Psychotherapy session centered on dreams and the collective sharing of dream experiences.

The activity is inspired by Silli’s installation Io sono il plumbeo amo, l’intartarato, le correnti sottomarine…, conceived as a large inhabitable fish trap that serves as a metaphor for the mind as a trap.
Within this unique environment, two psychotherapists from the Sottocorrente collective will welcome a group of up to ten participants to explore dreaming as a liminal space of encounter, relational language, and shared experience.

“As in the logic of the abyss, whatever lies beneath remains submerged and beyond sight. The same dynamic unfolds within the mind: what belongs to the unconscious is concealed, inaccessible to conscious awareness. The architecture of the mind, the caverns of thought, become unexplored territories. Moon landings reserved for the most intimate thoughts, trapped and monstrous, held captive,” writes Curator Giuliana Benassi in the exhibition text.

Developed in collaboration with OpenToTheInsideOut, the workshop places the dream at the centre as both a bridge and a relational territory, a means of giving form to thought through an anti-performative, analogical language, capable of connecting the individual’s inner world with the shared space of the group.

The fish trap is transformed into a site where art and psychotherapy meet through the depth of the group experience, allowing what is submerged to briefly surface in the free unfolding of imagination.

The workshop is open to everyone: local communities, students, artists.
Duration: 2 hours.

The educational workshop is free of charge and included with admission to D’ARC Foundation. No additional fee is required.
